I qualified as an audio engineer through City & Guilds at the City of Westminster College in 1997, recorded and released as a signed artist, and I still put out my own music today. I'm not a reviews-site operator who happens to cover audio plugins. I'm an engineer who got tired of the way plugin bundles get sold.
Most "best plugin bundle" pages are written to fill space and collect clicks. Prices are wrong, plugins discontinued years ago still get recommended, and every option is somehow a five-star must-buy. If you've spent real money off the back of one of those pages, you know how it ends.
Every comparison here starts from what the bundle actually costs today and what's actually in it — checked against the vendor's own pages, not copied from last year's marketing. The verdicts are written from a working engineer's chair: what I'd tell a mate who asked "is this one worth it?" Sometimes the answer is no. That's the point.
Prices, plugin counts, licensing terms, what's current and what's been retired — all verified against primary vendor sources before anything is published, and re-checked when a page is updated. The editorial standard and the final say are mine. If a verdict says a bundle isn't worth it, that's a real opinion from someone who's spent three decades making records — not a hedge to keep an affiliate relationship sweet.
